Sustainability

Our ambition extends to doing the right thing in the community around our customers. To promote a more sustainable future, we are using our resources to develop innovative technologies that drive economic growth and social value, all while using fewer natural resources and less energy.

Committed to responsible, sustainable operations

Elicron is committed to responsible, sustainable operations in terms of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) impact. The company is also committed to meeting the principles of the UN Global Compact, and the UN-backed Principles for Responsible Investment (UNPRI).

We believe that maintaining high ESG standards makes good business sense. Furthermore, we are convinced that responsible leadership in these areas has considerable potential to drive growth and promote development in the countries and communities where Elicron is present. All employees and management are required to be familiar with and follow all aspects of our ESG policies. The CEO is responsible to ensure that the company’s ESG policies are respected throughout the company.

Reducing environmental impact

While Elicron acknowledges that its operations have varying degrees of environmental impact, through the application of innovative technologies and techniques, we actively seek to reduce that footprint as much as possible.

Examples include improving energy efficiency at our own installations and those of our customers, reducing waste, and promoting the efficient use of resources.

Enabling the energy transition

Elicron’s electrochemical technologies play a key role in enabling the global energy transition. Our solutions support critical applications such as green hydrogen production, battery materials, renewable power generation and energy storage – helping customers reduce emissions, improve energy efficiency and move towards Net Zero operations.

Through durable product design, long service life and continuous innovation, we help extend asset lifecycles, reduce resource consumption and promote more sustainable industrial processes across the value chain.

Promoting social responsibility

The company respects all internationally recognized human rights agreements, and strives to provide good working conditions for all employees. Evaluations are to be regularly conducted to ensure failings are identified and addressed.

Elicron makes no distinction between gender, sexual orientation, age, race, skin color, ethnic background, religion, trade union membership, or physical ability. The company must also ensure that it does not use – directly or indirectly – forced labor, illegal child labor, or unlawful migrant labor.

EcoVadis Assessment

Sustainability is an integral part of Elicron’s strategy and how we create long-term value for our customers, employees, suppliers, and communities.

As one company, bringing together the strengths of Permascand and Magneto, 2026 marks Elicron’s first participation in the EcoVadis sustainability assessment. This assessment provides an independent evaluation of our sustainability management system and performance across four key areas: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.

Following our first EcoVadis assessment, Elicron has been awarded the EcoVadis Committed Badge, reflecting our participation in the EcoVadis rating process and our commitment to continuous sustainability improvement

The assessment serves as an important milestone in our sustainability journey. It provides valuable insights that help us strengthen our processes, identify improvement opportunities, and further integrate responsible business practices throughout our operations and value chain.

At Elicron, we are actively working to:
– Reduce the environmental impact of our operations and supply chain
– Advance responsible sourcing and supplier engagement
– Maintain high standards of ethics, compliance, and governance
– Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful workplace
– Support our customers’ sustainability ambitions through innovative electrochemical technologies

Participating in EcoVadis is one of several steps we are taking to enhance transparency, measure progress, and continuously improve our sustainability performance. As our business grows, we remain committed to creating sustainable value and contributing to a more sustainable future.

Corporate governance

Elicron has anti-corruption and whistleblowing policies in place, which all employees are required to respect. The company is required to accurately report all relevant financial information and business performance.

Elicron and its employees must always behave ethically and honestly in all business relationships and transactions, and in the best interests of the company.
