How it works

Cathodic protection is an electrochemical corrosion control technique that suppresses corrosion by ensuring the protected metal remains cathodic relative to its environment. When current is applied through specialized electrodes, the electrical potential of the metal surface is shifted to a range where corrosive reactions are minimized.

Elicron’s cathodic protection electrodes combine optimized materials, geometry, and coating technology to deliver stable, controlled current distribution. This reduces corrosive attack on the protected structure while maintaining efficient use of energy and durable performance over time.
