PCB Anodes

Stable PCB copper plating with lower additive consumption.

Printed Circuit Board anodes

A titanium-based insoluble anode designed for copper electroplating in high-end PCB (Printed Circuit Board) manufacturing. Used as the counter electrode, it enables stable copper deposition while reducing the consumption of brighteners. The result is a stable, long-life titanium anode that improves plating uniformity and lowers total operating cost.

Our titanium-based insoluble anodes give consistent performance, superior bath stability, and long-term reliability. It delivers higher process efficiency, reduced additive usage, and fewer maintenance interruptions, even in the most demanding applications.

Why PCB anodes?

  • Consistent plating quality
  • Long lifetime
  • Higher process efficiency
  • Lower operating costs

How it works

The titanium-based insoluble anode is used as the counter electrode in the PCB copper plating process. When current is applied, copper ions are reduced and deposited onto the cathode, while the anode enables stable water electrolysis without dissolving.

Copper ion balance in the plating bath is maintained by adding copper oxide, ensuring consistent bath chemistry, uniform plating quality, and reduced additive consumption over time.
