Electrowinning anodes
Electrowinning anodes designed for demanding electrochemical metal extraction and recovery processes, where efficiency, durability, and process stability are critical.
Built on titanium substrates with advanced catalytic coatings, Elicron’s electrowinning anodes enable low overpotential, long service life, and stable operation in aggressive electrolytes. The optimized design supports high-purity metal deposition while reducing energy consumption and maintenance requirements.
The result is a robust, long-life anode solution that improves process efficiency, reduces operating cost, and ensures reliable performance in industrial electrowinning applications.

Why electrowinning anodes?
- Reliable operation in aggressive electrolytes
- High corrosion resistance
- Long operational lifetime
- Low energy consumption
- Stable electrochemical performance

How it works
In electrowinning, an electrical current is applied to an electrolyte containing dissolved metal ions. The metal ions are reduced and deposited as pure metal at the cathode, while the anode provides a stable, non-dissolving counter electrode.
Elicron’s electrowinning anodes are engineered to deliver consistent current distribution and low oxygen evolution overpotential, ensuring efficient metal recovery and predictable performance over long production cycles.
