Hydrogen electrodes
Elicron’s green hydrogen electrodes are engineered for demanding electrochemical hydrogen production applications, where efficiency, durability, and stable performance are essential.
Built on robust conductive substrates with advanced catalytic coatings and optimized electrode geometry, our solutions support efficient green hydrogen evolution in alkaline and other electrolytic environments. The result is a high-performance electrode that delivers reliable operation, long service life, and efficient current distribution in industrial green hydrogen production systems.

Why hydrogen electrodes?
- Designed for industrial green hydrogen production
- Efficient green hydrogen evolution reaction
- Stable performance in electrolytic environments
- Long operational lifetime
- Optimized for low overpotential and energy efficiency

How it works
Green hydrogen electrodes function as the catalytic surface for the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) in electrolysis systems. When direct current is applied through an electrolyte, water molecules are reduced at the electrode surface to produce hydrogen gas. Efficient electrode design and catalytic coating enhance reaction kinetics, lower overpotential, and ensure consistent performance throughout long electrolysis cycles.
